If your having issue with V-Ray not saving a correct EXR 2.2 (for use in Nuke) Add in a VRayOptionRE render element. Then enable exr multipart

Cryptomatte is a tool created at Psyop by Jonah Friedman and Andy Jones. It creates ID mattes automatically with support for motion blur, transparency, and depth of field, using organizational information already available at render time. This organizational information is usually names, object namespaces, and material names.
UnzipRun this registry file:
- Download this file : 4K_monitor_fix
Copy the zipped file to:
- C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2016
Run the 4K_Monitor_Fix.reg file
- You may need to restart windows for the registry edit to work.
Do you have a Bunch of CustAttributes in Curve Editor?
In the even slowing down pace of 3dsmax this could be a cause
for i = custAttributes.count rootscene to 1 by -1 do custAttributes.delete rootscene 1

I’m digging the initial fireball and the secondary smoke/dirt spikes. Plus something I would like to see more is the air condensed/shock front effect. (Easily done with a falloff extra TeX)’
